Provides 100% NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) of Calcium, Zinc and Copper
Calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and zinc which contribute to the maintenance of normal bones
Developed based on the latest research with an optimum level of 25 µg Vitamin D3
UK’s No.1 bone health supplement brand.

Osteocare Original
Osteocare Original is the UK's no.1 bone health formula and has been scientifically developed on the basis of the very latest research to provide a rich source of calcium and co-factors including vitamin D which helps with the normal absorption of calcium by the body.
Improved formula now with extra vitamin D3
This improved formula has been developed in line with the latest ‘Vitamin D and Bone Health’ guidelines (NOS, 2018) for regular maintenance intake, providing 25μg of vitamin D3. Alongside magnesium, calcium, zinc, plus four additional supporting nutrients.
Osteocare contains the preferred D3 form of Vitamin D. Vitamin D3, also known as cholecalciferol, is the form of vitamin D that is produced by the skin on exposure to sunlight. D3 is the preferred form of vitamin D because it is the specific form made in the human body and therefore more effective than D2 which is found in some supplements.

Calcium plus co-factors
Osteocare Original provides 100% NRV (Nutrient Reference Value) of calcium carefully combined with co-factors including vitamin D, zinc and magnesium which help to maintain normal bone health.

Calcium is important for everyone
Ensuring an adequate intake of calcium is vital for men and women of all ages, as evidence suggests that healthy practices early in life, including the adequate consumption of calcium and trace elements, contribute to normal bone health and optimal bone mineralisation. Peak bone mass, obtained during childhood and adolescent growth is known to be of major importance in maintaining bones later in life. The UK Department of Health recommends that everyone should consider taking a daily supplement containing vitamin D, particularly during autumn and winter.

Calcium is vital for older women
Both sexes lose bone mass during their lifetime but after the menopause women usually lose bone mass much faster than men.
Postmenopausal women have an increased risk of bone loss for three reasons:
- Bone mineral content tends to be lower in women than in men
- Dietary calcium intake may decrease with age
- The rate of bone loss accelerates at menopause

Have difficulty swallowing tablets?
This Original formula is also available in a chewable tablet for those who have difficulty with swallowing tablets. Osteocare Chewable provides the same levels of calcium, magnesium, vitamin D and zinc which contribute to the maintenance of normal bone health. Getting enough calcium is especially important for men and women over 50, during pregnancy and breastfeeding, and during and after the menopause.
